I flew into Nightmute on Wednesday August 7th. You can see the whole village from the plane. I had new teacher orientation in Bethel on Monday and Tuesday. There are 3 new teachers this year in Nightmute. The airport is a strip of gravel and a blue building. The road leading back to the village is about 2 miles long. We were picked up by the custodian at the airport by 4-wheeler (or Honda). Good thing he brought a trailer because we had a bunch of luggage between the three of us.

ReplyDeleteyour website is awesome... love the pics...its the only place you can take them at midnight....looks like you living arraingments are nice.....Mario wants to know how the golf course conditions are and Brandon said looks like nice footin water....aunt lisa wants to know if we visit is there a plug in for her curling iron....by the way that state sara is from Indiana/Michigan is that a new state the Alaskans recognize.
