Today was the last day of school!
Sarah created a scavenger hunt for our kids to do today. Our last day was a half day (or a "lunch go home" day). We spent the last few days cleaning and organizing the classroom. So, since everything was put away, we spent the day walking (or running for the kids) around the village. We read clues to figure out where to go next. The first place we went was the airport, and then to the store. The third stop was at our house and the kids got a special popsicle treat. We sat on the porch to enjoy the popsicles. The weather was quite warm, so the kids enjoyed a cool snack in the middle of our scavenger hunt.
Next we headed to Mr. White's house (our principal). From there we walked to the well. I brought cups, so all the kids could get a drink of water from the well. After the well be went back to school. All the kids got special end of the year prizes from Sarah and I.
