Crow Agency, MT: Little Bighorn Battlefield (Custer's Last Stand)
We visited Little Bighorn Battlefield yesterday, 5/24.
(Internet was down at the hotel last night due to a thunderstorm.)
We visited the memorials to the soldiers from the Battle of Little Bighorn.
This was where the Sioux Indians surrounded the troops to win the battle.
There was also a memorial for the indians who fought in the Battle of Little Bighorn.
Daddy found his namesake.
Now we are going to start calling him "Poor Bear."
After the battlefield, we stopped to try Indian Tacos. We were told they were quite delicious. They were like regular tacos, but on fry bread instead of a tortilla.
One of my favorite parts of the day was spotting prairie dogs.
If you listen, you can hear their adorable squeaking. :)
