Classroom Decorations

I love decorating my classroom to match the festivities of the season. During art time, we make projects to hang in the classroom. 

For Halloween, we made bats out of recycled bottles. We paper mached them and painted them black. We put a puff ball for the nose and paper wings. I hot glued a string to the back so they could hang from the ceiling. We also made skeletons out of q-tips. 

Also for Halloween, we made jack-o-lanterns out of paper plates painted orange. 

 Now for Thanksgiving, we made turkeys to hang from the ceiling. Mother dearest sent us some colored feathers and googley eyes to make fancy turkeys. :)

Now we just need to make something to put instead of the skeletons! Maybe next week.... :)
