This past week, the weather has been fabulous. The sun is shining and the temperature is almost 50 degrees. Sarah and I have gone on a walk to the airport and well every day this week. Sometimes, our other teacher friend, Laura come with us for "girl talk" without anyone bothering us.
We brought cups with us to get a drink of cold fresh water from the well. :) Yummo!
During our walks, we have watched the river ice break up and float away.
These two pictures were taken a day apart. It is warm enough that the water didn't freeze over during the night, so it floated away instead. The river is now (almost) completely free of ice. We haven't seen any boats yet, but I'm thinking they will be out soon.
