In science we are currently studying weather. So, while we were discussing air and wind, we made kites to see the wind in action. The kiddos had a bunch of fun making their kites and flying them outside on the playdeck. We had the perfect day for kite flying.
To make the kites, we folded a piece of paper and taped on a straw. We used a streamer for the tail and we held on by a simple piece of string. They worked surprisingly well. :)
