This weekend there was a fiddle fundraiser at the school for the church. There were three days of music, dancing, and raffles. It was Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Sarah and I went on Saturday night. Overall, it was a big party. All of the kids were there and many people from out of town snow-machined over for the festivities.
We watched the kids do the electric slide to oldies played by the band. Some of the adults joined in for some of the slower songs.

There were many raffles going on. There were 50/50 raffles, a cake walk, and a Chinese auction. There were 2 tvs, a radio, a chainsaw, a tivo, a nice winter coat, and some smaller items for sale. Sarah and I both bought a ticket for a giant tv, but we didn't win. Oh darn. Our principal, Jerry, won a fishing rod though.
What is a fiddle fundraiser?
