Stuck in Bethel

On Friday Sarah, Michael and I came to Bethel for a second year teacher inservice. We have been trying to get to the village since Saturday night. The weather in Nightmute is quite windy so the planes can't fly. We have been waiting at the airport for 5 days now. It seems like the weather is only getting worse. 

Everyone at the airport must be tired of seeing us everyday. The people at the hotel all know us and as soon as we walk in they say, "oh no, you're still stuck?" 

We just want to go home!

***update: we got home on the mid day flight. There was a 3 hour window where the wind died down. The flight was good, just a little bumpy when we started to land. It's feels good to be home! :)
